Kat Dennings (n e Katherine Victoria Litwack) was born on the 13th day of June, 1986 in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. Ellen was her mother. She worked as poet and speech therapist. Gerald, her father was a professor as well as a molecular pharmacist. Dennings was born into a Jewish family as the eldest child. Dennings was only a brief student at traditional school and was homeschooled. Because she was trying to get into acting at a young age, the homeschool arrangement made the best sense, as she could complete high school at the age of fourteen. When she was just 9, she had started doing commercials. Her family relocated from the city of Los Angeles after she graduated high school to allow her to study acting. Her first auditions were under the name of Kat Dennings. Kat Dennings' debut as an actor took place on HBO's "Sex and the City" when she relocated to LA. Kat Dennings appeared in "Sex and City" in HBO.
