She also appeared as a character in the Francis Ford Coppola film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, she played Yasim anwar, a character from the BBC 5-episode miniseries The Last Enemy. Marinca has appeared in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. In the movie Fury (2014) in which she appeared as Irma, a German woman, who was Emma's aunt.
