Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American actor and musician. Her first release was funny, well-written rap songs that addressed issues like racial identification and sexuality. Then she expanded her audience to Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese and Korean parents in Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was the first instrument she played for her. Additionally, she was given Jazz and classical training before becoming a hip-hop teenager. While in the college years, she remained focused on her studies. She took up a degree in women's studies as well as journalism. For a brief period of time in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were also offered. The focus on music until after she graduated.
